Josephine refit 2008/2009
Works carried out to this lovely Andre Hoek 52 foot cutter as follows.
Strip of all varnish and revarnish all brightwork external
Refurbish all skylights
Removal of rig and replacement of all standing rigging
Respray of mast and boom
Fitting on new Simrad GB40 Glassbridge radar/chart plotter
Fitting of new Raymarine depth, wind, log and Macmurdo Mav 7 plus
Lift out and remove all antifoul back to epoxy coatings below waterline
Repairs to sheating and recoating with six coats of Epoxy and three of Antifoul
Removal of centreplate from keelbox
Removal of hydraulic keel ram and wire
Re design of keel ram and controls and subsequent fabrication of new
Refiitting of centreplate
Cuttting back of hull and filling as required followed by four coats of Awlgrip sprayed
New stemplate
General service of all winches and seacocks etc
