Harbour Marine Services Ltd have looked after Jessica, a Peter Duck ketch for some ten years now through three owners. Shown in the photos is the damage caused to her when two yachts dragged their moorings in West Mersea during a gale and collided with her. New port side deck, new bulwark, twelve new timbers, three new planks, new rubbing strake, extensive mast repairs followed by repaint and varnish meant she was soon as good as new. HMS have also carried out extensive refit work to Maggie May including replacement of sub deck and teak deck and re-splining of hull. Jemima Puddleducks refit included rebuilding her engine re-wiring and replacing all timberwork from the companionway bulkhead aft including the cockpit. More recently Mallard of Chet has had amongst other work, a new engine, new Teak laid deck, new tanks and a new chart table incorporating fridge.
