We are traditional East Anglian Boat Builders with a modern approach based in the unique Town of Southwold, which provides a haven for yachtsmen from both the UK and Abroad.

Until the arrival of Harbour Marine Services in 1988 there was no working boatyard at Southwold. We have remedied this by building the business up to a level where we can now provide full boatyard facilities with lifting and launching up to 30 tons.

The Company now has 17 employee's in the shop and the yard who hold a good knowledge of all marine aspects and will advise free of charge. We have extensive hard standing for winter storage and lay-up. We are one of the few yards that will still encourage our customers to make full use of our facilities and work on their own craft.

Winter storage is offered at very competitive rates and we are happy to provide skippers to collect your vessel for the winter and deliver it back to you whenever you are ready. Winter storage in East Anglia with our door to door service really is a cost effective alternative to the South Coast.

We also have a Chandlery for all your marine requirements and offer good discounts to new and existing customers. Whilst we work with yachts and working craft of Fibreglass, Steel and ferro-cement, we also continue to specialise in Classic Yachts, working on craft dating back to the early 1900's, recent examples are Mero a 1934 Silverette, Marie LouiseII a 1926 Hillyard 7 Tonner and Reprise a 1952 East Anglian.
